Sk8r-Chick

I printed stuff way back in high school but even then I had like, no idea what I was doing XDDD (I remember my art always looked fuzzy/pixel-y and never being able to figure out why) This is just for future reference...but how does 200 dpi look printed compared to 300dpi? Everyone recommends 300 dpi, but that's just...so huge (like 6 inches of 300 dpi is like 3000 pixels omfg). I work pretty small; when canvases are so huge I get uncomfortable :U but maybe I do just need to get over that............. That's my main question; but if there are any other nuggets of info I'd be happy to hear 8) becuz I'm a noob :B
